Group Classes are available in multiple types of levels and interests:

Puppy Starter/Play Group:
Ages: 9wks-4 months 45 min weekly for 4 weeks
Start your new puppy off on the right paw. This class will not only teach you to stop bad behaviors from becoming habits but also help you understand how your dog thinks and learns. Your puppy will learn to accept proper handling from veterinary staff, groomers and family members. Your puppy will also become socialized with dogs, people and strange environments during their key development stage. We will also start the very basic obedience commands like sit, come, down and more! We will discuss housebreaking, crate training and all other puppy related issues. This class is ongoing, every Tuesday evening! Class fee is $ 70.00 for 4 weeks.

Basic Obedience/CGC:
Ages: 4 months and up, 45 minutes weekly for 8 weeks
This class is great for puppies that need to start training and adult dogs that need to learn some manners. No dog is too old for training! You will learn to teach your dog to come when called, sit-stay, down-stay, and walk on loose leash and much more! We will also discuss breaking the chain of bad behaviors and replace it with proper manners. You will also learn how your dog learns and thinks so you are more empowered to train your dog. A new class starts each month, call for start dates and time! The A.K.C. Canine Good Citizen curriculum is included in this class. Class fee is $125.00 for 8 weeks.

OBEDIENCE LEVELS CLASS/CGC:
Ages: 4 months and up. 45 min a week 6 months $300
Yearly $550
New classes start every Saturday

This 6 month course meets every Saturday. The class is taught in levels 1-4. You and your dog need to pass competencies for each level in order to continue forward to the next level. This style class is great for the busy family, you never fall behind if you miss a class. You just come at the time frame for your level and continue on. This course provides instruction for basic thru advanced obedience. You can finish as fast or slowly as needed. This style offers a more challenging curriculum than the 8 week course. We will also work on individual problem solving. Our flexible levels program offers you unlimited training, allowing you and your dog to get lots of practice under the supervision of our professional trainer. A.K.C. Canine Good Citizen curriculum is also included in this program.

All classes are subject to change. To sign up for the 8 week class, a $25.00 deposit must be made to hold your spot. All other classes must be paid in full prior to start.
Bring dogs to first class and be ready to train.

Private Lessons:
These lessons are geared for clients who may not be able to attend group classes or who need one on one instruction with our trainer. You can work on anything during your private lesson from obedience, to agility, to behavior modification. The price for private lessons is $70/hour or $35/for a half hour. We also have Private in-home lessons within the DeSoto/ Lancaster area, for $100.00 Call to set up a time to meet our trainer.

Board and Train:
Let your dog stay with us while we train them in basic obedience, manners, behavior modification, advanced obedience, agility and much more! During your dog’s stay the trainer will work with your pet 4 times a day, 5 days a week. You and your family are encouraged to attend weekly lessons, to update you on your pet’s progress. These lessons will be scheduled at a time that is convenient to you. Post training private lessons are available with our trainer to help you and your dog make a smooth transition home.
Our 2-week program covers basic obedience commands and manners including; sit, down, stay, come when called, place, walk well on leash, stop jumping, stop biting/mouthing and more.

Our 4 week program covers advanced obedience, such as sit and down in motion, long distance recall, stand for exam, distractions, proofing, and a continuation of problem solving. This program will amaze you. You will be required to meet with the trainer weekly, and at pick up for private lessons (included), and keep up with the training at home.

The charge for board and train is $600 for 2 weeks, $1000 per month, a daily refresh rate is available at $25 in addition to your regular boarding fee. The monthly rate includes a bath prior to you picking your pet up. Call for more information or to schedule a reservation.

Temperament Test:
Allow our trainer to temperament test your dog which allows us to understand what they are like around people, new situations, other pets and children. After the test we let you know of our findings and make appropriate recommendations for any needed training. This one time test is also required for any dog prior to participation in group play. This allows us to form groups based on temperament allowing us to choose the type of dogs your pet would enjoy playing with. The cost for this test is $20.

AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing:
Prove to your family & friends your dog is a well-mannered companion by passing the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. This test uses a number of exercises to test the dog’s adaptability, sociability and obedience. Both of our group classes train for the C.G.C. test. It is a good start for those wishing to take their dogs through the Delta Society’s therapy dog program or anyone wishing to start service/assistance dog training.

Group Play Sessions:
We now offer group play sessions for pets during their boarding stay. All participants must have passed a one time temperament test. You can sign your dog up a maximum of two sessions per day. This supervised playtime lasts 15 minutes. Group play is $8 per session, check for availability.

Agility Fun Night ** New **:
Wondering what your dog would think of agility or unsure if you would like to take a class? Sign up for our Agility Fun Night, every Friday from 7-8pm and bring them out to play on the equipment. This activity is supervised by our trainer who is available to answer questions. Pre- registration is required. This class is not for the serious agility competitor. All participating pets must be current on vaccinations.
